Creation and Usage

VeNotion's solution, VeN4™ ServiceWare software product, automatically creates a Business Service Catalog. The Business Service Catalog serves as the central business context container, enriching every type of software services repository in the organization, such as a CMDB, asset management inventory, SOA registry/repository, etc. with business context. The combination of these repositories under on master business catalog enables:

Relationships between different business services and IT objects
Interrelationship between business domains, business sub-domains and business servicess
Common language for all decision makers

This results in better management of IT operations, allowing better service level agreement (SLA) management, business impact management and real Business Activity Monitoring (BAM).
