Shalom Daskal - Chairman
Shalom Daskal is Co-founder and active chairman of the board of directors, with over 30 years of experience in high-tech sales, marketing and management. Shalom envisions the cutting edge approach of the company in the business, technology and marketing fields, enabling VeNotion’s visibility to leading international business organizations.
Prior to founding VeNotion, Shalom managed six international ISV companies with an excellent business growth and proven exit record. Shalom brings his business and enterprise IT knowledge to VeNotion, including extensive P&L experience in managing the revenue-generating and customer-focused functions of a major technology corporation on a global basis.
Shalom began his career with the Israeli Defense Force – computer center (Mamram) which included earning a Bachelor's degree in computer science and additional degree’s from the IDF computer academy.
Rob Levy - Vice Chairman and Director
Rob Levy is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of BEA Systems. He leads the company’s efforts to align BEA’s technology vision with its business strategy. He is responsible for developing and implementing technology initiatives within the company and fostering BEA’s commitment to software innovation and open standards. Previously, he was EVP of New Products Strategy, responsible for all aspects of BEA’s AquaLogic product line, including research and development, product management, support, quality assurance, and strategic planning.
Prior to BEA, Rob served as SVP and Chief Technology Strategist at Computer Associates (CA), where he led CA’s Center for Technology Strategy. He was responsible for defining, articulating and driving the execution of CA's technology vision and strategy. Previously at CA, Rob was SVP and General Manager of CA’s CleverPath and AllFusion life cycle management brands. In that role he was responsible for all aspects of CA's portal, business intelligence and application life cycle management product lines. Previously, Rob served in executive management positions for several successful start-up ventures including Managing Director North America and Chief Strategy Officer at ItemField Inc. (now Informatica), a leading-edge XML transformation startup; SVP Operations and Development at Nastel Technologies, a leading middleware management vendor; and was founder, Chairman and CEO of MQ Tech, Inc., a successful middleware services and consulting company. Rob also held several software development management positions at Candle Corporation (now IBM) and the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) Computer Center.
Tsvi Gal - Director
Tsvi Gal is the former Chief Technology Officer for Deutsche Bank Asset Management. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Tsvi was CIO at Time Warner Music Group introducing ring tones iTune/iPod drive and eCommerce site with 14 million users. From 1999 to 2002, Tsvi was President and COO of AT&T’s ATT.COM and grew the revenue of the group three-fold to $390M per annum with net profit of $95M. Tsvi also served in executive management roles as CIO, CTO and COO at Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo, ABN AMRO Bank and Bank of America. From 1996 to 2001 Tsvi served on the USA technology delegation to the G7. He developed the first Internet bank at Wells Fargo Bank. In 2001, he received the Einstein Award from the State of Israel President.
Tsvi is a Computer Science graduate of Rutgers University and holds an MBA from Golden Gate University. He is the author of "Distributed Computing Management" and serves on the Board of Directors at Expand, Cardean University and Dati and as an advisor to the Rutgers University President.
Itai Ben Dor - Director and Co-founder
Itai Ben-Dor is one of the four founders of VeNotion, with over 30 years of experience in the software and telecommunication industries in various executive management positions. Itai is contributing his vast know how and cross continent, industry leaders network to the benefit and success of VeNotion.
Prior to founding VeNotion, Itai gained international experience in the development of key markets for ISV’s (Independent Software Vendors). Itai was responsible for the development, marketing and sales of software, services and telecommunication solutions for publicly traded companies such as: Emblaze Systems, Emblaze Mobile, Tescom , BMC and New Dimension. In all of his managerial roles, Itai had successfully penetrated new markets and generated high business growth.
Itai began his career with the Israeli Defense Force – computer center (Mamram) which included earning a Bachelor's degree, MBA and additional degree’s from IDF computer academy.
Avi Kochva - CEO and Co-founder
Avi is the CEO and Co-founder of VeNotion with over 28 years of experience in Enterprise IT management. Avi’s reputation and proven IT record combined with the creation of VeNotion’s unique organizational culture attracted the best industry talents to join forces and invent the Virtual enterprise Notion - VeNotion.
Prior to founding VeNotion, Avi served as the CIO of the Israel Defense Forces technology and computer center (MAMRAM).
Avi brings to VeNotion a proven success record and extensive experience in system programming, communications, project management, strategic technology development, financing and management of large enterprise IT centers.
Avi has a bachelor's degree in economics, an MBA and earned additional degrees from the IDF computer academy and the SMP program of the Technion Institute.
Ronen Yochpaz - CTO and Co-founder
Ronen is the CTO and Co-founder of VeNotion with over 17 years of experience in enterprise IT management, IT enterprises integration, SOA design and implementation and Grid computing. Ronen translated the Virtual enterprise Notion to innovative Virtual enterprise Network of software components leveraging on the SOA initiative known today as the patent pending VeN4 ServiceWare.
Prior to founding VeNotion, Ronen served as Chief integration and SOA architect of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) technology and computer center (MAMRAM). Ronen brings to VeNotion a proven success record and extensive experience in SOA, Grid architecture, enterprise integration, project management, strategic technology development and a proven record of innovation.
Ronen has a bachelor's degree in computer science, MBA, is in the final phase of his Phd. in Information Systems and earned additional degrees from the IDF computer academy.
Udi Shani - Director
IDF - General (Ret.) Udi Shani is a member of the board of directors of VeNotion Technologies with over 30 years of experience in large scale military and IT organization management. Udi brings a unique executive perspective of the largest C4I section of the Israel Defense Force center combined with deep understanding of the enterprise computing world.
Udi has a bachelor's degree in economics, MA from the Bar-ILAN University and earned additional degrees from the IDF academy.
